FAN DEATH
Conceived by Dandilion Wind Opaine and Marta Jaciubek-McKeever in 2007, Fan Death is a dance project driven by strings, synth and wild storytelling. With the help of producer Samuel Findlay, Dandilion penned “A Coin For The Well” and “Womb Of Dreams” for which Marta provided harmonies as well as the track “Side by Side”. From 2008 to 2011, Marta and Dandi’s palpable chemistry was captured in photographs, music videos, and most famously in the strange and sexually charged live performances that captivated audiences all over the world. Together they toured Mexico, Russia, U.K., Spain, France, Germany and shared the stage with Florence And The Machine, Vampire Weekend and Franz Ferdinand. In 2011 Marta and Dandi announced an end to Fan Death and a promise to reunite on other projects through life.
